ITOSHIMA is a city famous for fresh and sweet products and there are lots of eating facilities and cafes which stick to regional native ingredients in the area.
All stores are attractive to customers because of their strategic location and good ambience in which you could also enjoy eating during holidays.

　In the recent years, we can say that Kaki-Goya industries in ITOSHIMA have been booming. Every winter, about 20 Kaki-Goya(s) are opened in 6 various areas in ITOSHIMA city and are always crowded with many customers. Kaki-Goya in ITOSHIMA features fresh, safe, and big meat at reasonable prices.
　Above all, many stores allow us to bring in rice and beverage which makes the eating activity more fun and enjoyable. The taste of boiling the oyster, straight from the sea, is good especially if you’ll prepare it by yourself. Please enjoy also eating hot oysters from the oven, using cooking liquid.
　There are several Kaki-Goya(s) found in the area and they are maintaining the same level of prices because the owners are members of the Fisher folk’s Association in the city.
　Each Kaki-Goya offers various side dishes such as scallops, squid, turban, shell abalone, fresh prawn, and kaki- rice (adding oysters to the rice).
　Service differentiation could be observed also.

　You could ask each Kaki-Goya outlet to bring oyster back to home or dispatch them to all parts of Japan.
